Services We Offer

COVID-19

 

Mental Health Professionals have been identified as an “Essential Service Provider”. With this designation we ARE ALLOWED TO SERVICE CLIENTS THAT ARE FREE FROM FEVER OR ILLNESS IN OUR OFFICE . If you choose to come to the office, we will ask that you wait in your car until your scheduled time of service; this is to adhere to the “social distancing policy”. As we have always done, we will continue to thoroughly sanitize after every service to keep you and our staff in good health. ALTERNATIVELY, you can request a video (telehealth) session instead of an office appointment, if this is a desired option for you, please let us know at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Outpatient Counseling

 

Outpatient Counseling is services provided to patients that you receive when you are not admitted to the hospital such as physician services and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Here at NOC, we specialize in Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, Grief, Marital Discord, Sex Addic​tion, Gender Identification Therapy, EMDR, Compulsions, and Substance Abuse. Any of these issues can be addressed from a Christian perspective. This is a great option if hospitals or inpatient facilities make you feel uncomfortable. Here you can seek the help you need, in a calm and safe environment. We offer services with individual therapy or group therapy. Individual and Group Counseling – all service locations are licensed by the State of Texas and staffed by experienced professionals.

Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Therapy is an ideal level of mental health treatment for adults struggling with symptoms of mental illness that are interfering with their daily living and are not yet managed in weekly therapy or medication management. Clients participate in group programming, while working on an individualized treatment plan. Treatment is supported by a multidisciplinary team including Licensed Therapists, Licensed Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists. Each client will be assessed individually prior to starting the program. Many outpatients rely on individual therapy for psychological support, but there can come a time when more support than can be provided by individual therapy is needed. Men and women requiring more comprehensive mental health services may be interested in intensive outpatient programs.

NOC Clinical Counseling offers services approved by the District Courts Probation Department for persons requiring: Anger Management, Retail Fraud, Effective Parenting, MRT, Thinking For A Change, Life Skills, Domestic Violence /Substance Abuse and Assessments. All classes receive completion certificate and probation department notifications. All professional instructors are supervised by a Licensed Professional Counselors. NOC Clinical Counseling Court Program staff is closely linked to the local courts and is experienced in necessary communications and other probation requirements. Random drug screening is monitored and follows legal chain of custody regulations. It’s important that our patients have realistic expectations. Therapy is not a quick fix, rather it’s a process and can be a successful tool toward resolving problems.
